naked face eating
so, listen. as a “digital native” (i hate that term but whatever) i didn’t really think i had any personal boundaries when it comes to viewing disturbing things on the internet.
as it turns out, i do: blurry “naked face eater” photos make me uneasy as hell. (this coming from a woman who just the other day i google image searched “flesh eating bacteria.”...

I’m going to try to writing here a bit more regularly. I might even set calendar alerts to remind me and everything.
So I’m going to start, and there’s personal stuff here that’s not me-at-work. Excuse the choppiness. It’s been a minute.

Here is an unsung perk of a long distance relationship that I’ve actually always quite appreciated: Space to figure out that it’s actually a good one.
Finally, a good one.
some things about moving
1. i am more likely to work out
2. i am more likely to eat three gigantic cookies after working out
3. i spend more $ but own less stuff
4. i walk more, more, more. i get lost. i turn off.
5. this city makes up for all the things i didn’t think through
6. … except for maybe one or two

bring back paper mail / nyc
My friend and former colleague Dan mailed me a short-but-sweet note. It was my first official piece of mail since moving to New York City two days ago (that was fast!). I was really touched, because, seriously, everybody knows the effort it takes sometimes to procure a stamp. Anyway, I think we should bring back mail. Mail is heartwarming. Mail is charming. Mail is special. And mail needs us! So...
